My talent is to see the possibilities and use them. Many of my businesses started that way. I helped a guy to sell a van full of used tires he didn’t need. That’s how United Tires, a tire retailer, started. I wanted to express my creativity, I bought a camera, and the result was the Image for a Creation photo project.

The idea of Structural Beam, my structural steel company, came about when we were constructing a building, and our contractor always delayed the metal plate supply. When they finally arrived, they couldn’t even lift the plate to the floor and asked us for help! And I thought: why depend on contractors? We can do it better if we do it ourselves!

I like what I do because I make decisions. If I decided to work for a salary, I would rely on my talents, following the rules, and consider myself successful. But I always knew it wasn’t an option. I wanted to take a chance and make it big. Following this path, I’ve earned a lot more than money, I made myself (or my personality). Today I manage six businesses, and this is not the limit.

Owning a business makes you feel free. I also appreciate this feeling when running. When I’m in constant motion, I am free. I can run 5 hours in a row, especially when it’s raining. I’m cut off from the outside world, I finally can dive deep into my mind and become a completely different person in the final stage. I always wanted to be strong and overcome any obstacles, both physically and mentally. Running, boxing, playing tennis, and training in the gym helps me to develop endurance, speed and flexibility. As for mental qualities, I think the real power is when you can continue to be happy under any circumstances. I try to train this quality every day. If I’m alive and healthy, then I’m already happy. And that’s why it’s so hard to disappoint me 🙂
